Frequently Asked Questions, printable invitations

faq

What happens after I order the invitations?
After you submit your order, a designer will input your event details into the invitation design you selected. You will receive an email when your proof is ready for you to review. (Usually within 1 Business day after order is placed). Once you receive your proof, use this time to check and double check your product for any errors, misspellings, etc. You will reply to your designer and let them know of any changes/revisions. This continues until you are completely happy with the invitation. Once approved, you will receive a an email with your invite files.

Can I change wording, colors, etc. ?
Yes. Color Scheme, Font, Layout, Graphics can all be modified! Most themes can be modified for a boy or a girl. Add clipart like stars, balloons, etc. at no additional cost.
^ Top

Can I have more than one name on an invitation design for twins, etc.?
Although we can usually add 2 people to one invitation design, it does not produce optimal results. Please consider two separate purchases, due to space limitations.
^ Top

Can I upload the file online to Walgreens, CVS, etc.?
Yes. Simply upload the invitation .jpg labeled 4x6-PHOTOLAB to the photo site along with the release image and select your delivery method. (additional fee may apply)

Please note:
Because photo labs do not offer 2x6 printing, the file is formatted so that 2 invites fit on a standard 4x6 print (requires a single cut down the middle to separate them).

Example, if you need 24 tickets, you would order only 12 prints because there will be two tickets per 4x6 prints.

Please note: Even though you are legally allowed to use these images for personal use items such as invitations or party favors, please keep in mind not all photo labs will do prints that contain trademark or copyright images even with the release image. Although rare, rejection can happen. If you encounter this situation, simply try a different place.

Can you print them for me and ship them to my house?

Please note: Even though you are legally allowed to use these images for personal use items such as invitations or party favors, please keep in mind not all photo labs will do prints that contain trademark or copyright images even with a release image. Although rare, rejection can happen. If you encounter this situation, just try another photo lab or print them at home.

Email Invitation
If I want to email my invitation, all I need to do is attach the saved invite to the email, is this correct? A. Yes, we include an email invitation .jpg that is a nice size but not too large for email servers. Just simply attach it to your email as you would any other picture.

How do I print the invitations?
You will receive an attachment in your email that includes a high quality image of your invitation (.jpg file). You save it to your computer. Then it's up to you how and where you print. You can print them at home using your photo-imaging or photo printer software. Print as many times as you need on your own paper, glossy photo paper or card stock! Print them at a photo kiosk by saving it to a disc or usb. You can even upload them to online. Have your local photo lab (like Walgreens, CVS, etc.) print your invitations! Please note: The 4x6 file included in your order is formatted so that 2 tickets fit on 1 4x6 print.

How do I print these at a photo kiosk?
Simply save your invitation .jpg labeled 4x6-PHOTOLAB along with the RELEASE IMAGE to a disc or flash drive (usb) and take it with you to the photo store, lab or kiosk.
At your local photo store (Walgreens, CVS, etc.), you would just insert your disk or flash drive into the photo kiosk and then order however many prints you need of the invitation just like you would order prints of photos from your digital camera. (additional fee may apply)

Because photo labs do not offer 2x6 printing, the file is formatted so that 2 invites fit on a standard 4x6 print (requires a single cut down the middle to separate them).

Even though I approved it and didn't catch the mistake, can it still be corrected without a fee?

What kind of envelopes do I use?
The ticket style invitation fit in a standard envelope 3 5/8 x 6 1/2. The ticket measures roughly 2" by 6" depending on your printer settings so try to find something close to that. Want a snug fit? If offered from your local office supply store, you can look for coin envelope #7. The ticket fits almost perfect. Be sure to check with your local carrier to make sure this size is acceptable for standard mail.

What kind of paper do I use to print my invites?
It's completely up to you! All designs can be printed on either photo paper or card stock. We recommend a thicker glossy photo paper. It makes them really stand out. Sometimes you can find brochure paper; it is heavy and has a glossy front for photos.
